The Wellbeing team at Fidler and Ford aims to support individuals with a physical or mental disability, with or without a NDIS plan to achieve their best life, by providing; client centred therapeutic support, skill development, mentoring, personal care, NDIS coordination of support, community connections and domestic assistance.

Initial consultation
A comprehensive evaluation of the client's presenting issues, history, and goals for therapy.
$180.00 per 50 minute session

Subsequent consultation
Intervention/treatment or re-assessment.

We offer teletherapy sessions for clients who are in regional areas.

Psychological Assessment
An interview/observation assessment, online multi-informant questionnaires, a report and a feedback appointment.

Psychologist’s interpret assessments and develop a report.

*Medicare
To access a Medicare rebate, you need a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your General Practitioner, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician. The number of sessions available under Medicare is restricted to 6 individual sessions and a maximum of 10 per calendar year. These additional four sessions require a re-referral from your GP.
Our practice is not linked with Medicare Online, you must claim your Medicare rebate. To do this you must submit a claim by logging into MyGov and using the Medicare portal.
Private Clients
As a private client, you do not need a referral from your GP. You will need to pay the amount in full and will not be eligible for Medicare rebate.
Private Health Funds
Rebates may be available through private health insurers’ ‘Extras’ schemes. You are responsible for contacting your private health insurer to determine whether your policy covers the services you intend to claim. Please note that you are not permitted to use Medicare and private health insurance for the same consultation.
NDIS Package
We are able to provide services to those individuals who have an NDIS package with goals for Psychological therapy that are plan or self managed
Cancellation Policy
We require at least 24 hours notice for appointment cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Please note that accounts are strictly 7 days. Future appointments will not be made or confirmed until payment is made in full.

This highly effective, research-based method is perfect for individuals of all ages, from young children to adults, including those with dyslexia and other learning challenges.
