Jeremy Kuipers – Support Worker
Jez is a one of the most energetic, enthusiastic fun guys we have in our Fidler and Ford team. He absolutely loves working alongside participants, he’s spontaneous and ready for any challenge.
Being a father himself, he has a great connection with the kids. You will often see him down at the jetty fishing with the participants, bike riding or taking them out on adventures.
In his spare time he enjoys homelife with his partner and puppy. His love of gaming is an extra bonus as the kids love to talk to him about his game worlds.
Jez has gained extensive experience in the field, including complex mental health needs and physical disability, and aims to assist everyone in reaching their goals.
Henry Pasini – Support Worker
Henry is one of our original support crew. Based on the east coast he says “he lives in the best place in the world”.
Henry loves riding his motor bike in his spare time and tinkering on anything mechanical. In his past he was a busy restaurant owner and chef.
Now he loves giving back to the community and spending quality time with participants especially those that love to get out and about in the great outdoors.
Emily Hood – Support Worker
Emily is a newbie to East Coast and has only been living here for a few years, but long enough to completely fall in love. She lives on a small hobby farm and has a flock of animals that she loves and cares for. Emily really enjoys problem solving. She is often working on projects from fixing fences, helping her co-workers in the office understand the coffee machine, to mending holes on her wetsuit. She has a passion for getting outdoors and into the sunshine, especially in the garden.
With participants, Emily really enjoys trying new things from pottery classes, learning the nut bush at the gym, or trying a new card game. Emily is really looking forward to the opportunity to study and learn more about how to best support participants. She feels really lucky to be able to be apart of such a friendly and caring team and spending time out in the community with participants.
Ashley Roberts - Support Worker
Ashely has enjoyed working as a support worker for some time now. She grew up in St Helens so is very familiar with the east coast and its locals.
Busy with her new house and having a young family of her own, she enjoys working part time for Fidler and Ford.
Ashley will give anything a go! and loves the diversity of the job. Which can be anything from fishing, pottery or cooking but especially loves getting out into nature with some of our younger participants.
Mel has proven to be one of the most popular with all the participants! She is very chilled and has a calming effect on everyone in her presence. She gels well with the younger participants probably because she has two young gorgeous children of her own.
Growing up in the Winnaleah/Weldborough region of Tasmania she knows lots of special secret spots and loves to take her participants for nature walks.
Mel is also amazing at arts and crafts! she enjoys doing this in her spare time, especially macrame and has been able to assist some participants with creating their own pieces and even selling them at the markets.
Mel Harvey - Support Worker
Amber Roberts - Support Worker
Amber is our baby of the group, she is very energetic and enthusiastic. Loving her new career path, she takes on any challenges presented to her, helping out at the respite house and with the participants.
Amber tends to have a special bond with the younger participants, you’ll often find Amber down at the jetty fishing with the kids or taking them for ice-cream after a game of basketball.
Amber is keen to start her traineeship as a support worker and gain her certificate in the near future.
Bianca Radford - Support Worker
Bianca is a breath of fresh air to the Fidler and Ford family. Bianca loves to cook, dance, have fun and loves a good laugh. She is happy to jump into any task on hand, and is very well suited to being a support worker. Bianca keeps herself very busy and loves going on adventures with her beautiful young family.
Growing up in St Helens, she is very well known and liked in the community.
Courtney - Alomes - Administrator
Courtney is our new administrator. She has a wealth of knowledge. Recently completing a degree in Psychology and a Cert 3 in individual support. This will compliment her role at Fidler and Ford perfectly.
After finishing her study, she is now looking forward to starting some hobbies like macrame and photography in her free time.
Courtney is a local girl. Growing up in St Helens, she has been involved in many different areas of our community over the years. A newlywed and has recently bought her first home so she is blissfully settling in and doing some landscaping at her new house.
Sally Graham - Support Worker
Our newest recruit to Fidler and Ford. Born and bred in Tasmania, Sally is a well-respected member of the community, we love her positive attitude and think she will thrive in this new career move.
‘Sall’ as we like to call her, is up for any challenge and is ready to start a new chapter in her life. She is a real go getter, playing netball, running and loves her arts and crafts.
Sally loves the outdoors and is often travelling on weekends with her daughter to visit family, netball carnivals, hiking or to participate in a triathlon.
Jess Good - Support Worker
Fidler and Ford love having a young, enthusiastic, energetic person in our crew. Jess grew up in St Helens, her family have horses and her mum ‘Louisa’ does equine facilitated learning. Lots of participants love going out to their property to see the horses.
Jess is an animal lover like her mum, who is also a vet nurse and is often bringing home kittens which Jess helps to look after.
Having a French father, she regularly Travels to Europe to visit family. However, she loves her life on the east coast and is really excited to start a career in support work. Jess has really enjoyed supporting the participants, especially taking them to ceramics and joining them on outdoor adventures.
Ruth O’Dowd - Allied Health Assistant
Ruth has been a teacher for 10 years, with 5 years working specifically with autistic students. She has a passion for getting to know each person individually and creating specific programs to engage and motivate clients into achieving their goals.
Ruth thoroughly enjoys thinking outside the box to create fun, cross curricular activities where you don’t realise you are learning.
Ruth has a BA in archaeology and has used this to create simulated digs for kids and teens and has also spearheaded Quest events. (a medieval adventure involving a whole community).
Ruth loves being creative, she loves art, drawing, painting and playing with clay, she also enjoys baking - gluten free, dairy free and refined sugar free treats.
Annie Morton – Psychologist
Annie is our part-time Psychologist. She is based in Tasmania and enjoys the travel to the east coast to see her clients. Annie works with adults, children and families. Her experience includes both Assessment and Therapy for a range of presentations and has a particular interest in Trauma, EMDR, eating disorders, learning disorders and ADHD assessments and support. Annie is continuously building her knowledge and skill base so she can provide the best solutions to our clients.
Annie is the best friend of a person while struggling with their troubled mind.
In her spare time, Annie enjoys spending time with her family and chilling out on her farm.
