The number of sessions available under Medicare is restricted to 6 individual sessions and a maximum of 10 per calendar year. These additional four sessions require a re-referral from your GP.

Our practice is not linked with Medicare Online, you must claim your Medicare rebate. To do this you must submit a claim by logging into MyGov and using the Medicare portal.

    Private Clients

As a private client, you do not need a referral from your GP. You will need to pay the amount in full and will not be eligible for Medicare rebate.

    Private Health Funds

Rebates may be available through private health insurers’ ‘Extras’ schemes. You are responsible for contacting your private health insurer to determine whether your policy covers the services you intend to claim. Please note that you are not permitted to use Medicare and private health insurance for the same consultation.
